Tasting Note:

This fabulously rich wine (a blend of 85% Zinfandel 12% Petite Sirah and low and behold 3% Viognier) is one of the finest I have tasted. The saturated opaque purple color is followed by a knock-out nose of blackberry liqueur intermingled with raspberries pepper and spice. The wine is explosively rich with loads of glycerin layers of concentrated jammy fruit full body and a knock-out heady finish. This is a hedonistic gloriously perfumed and decadently concentrated wine to drink over the next 3-4 years. Source: Wine Advocate

Spicy with cherry and blackberry and modest acidity allow the Zinfandel to pair easily with beef veal pork chicken ragout and cheese.
