The estate_s 2004 La Grola (70% Corvina 15% Rondinella 10% Syrah 5% Sangiovese) is made from super-ripe fruit harvested from a modern densely-planted vineyard. It is a decidedly structured wine that explodes from the glass with an array of earthiness blackberry preserves sweet toasted oak and new leather in a more linear deep style than Palazzo della Torre.
