The 1996 lExtravagant is pure Sauvignon Blanc. It boasts a deep gold color in addition to an unctuous texture fabulous freshness and notes of grapefruit and subtle oak (the 200% new oak treatment is utilized for the whopping 100-125 cases produced). A huge wine with lots of acidity and little mass and volume this tour de force in wine making should drink well for 50+ years.
