The 1997 Chardonnay Lorenzo Vineyard displays fabulous intensity as well as a textbook smoky hazelnut lemon butter-scented nose with floral scents in the background. On the palate buttered citrus minerals and roasted notes compete with the copious quantities of fruit glycerin and heady alcohol.
