1997 Pahlmeyer Chardonnay

Tasting Note:

The spectacular full-bodied unctuous 1997 Chardonnay exhibits a hazy light straw/green/gold color in addition to a blockbuster nose of minerals toast tropical fruit (tangerine) lemon butter and pineapple. In the mouth some of the roasted hazelnut grand cru Chassagne-Montrachet-like notes become more apparent. This fabulous Chardonnay should drink well for 3-4 years. Source: Wine Advocate
